...My name is Micaela Laber, and I have been dancing for 13 years. This year will be my second year on the team, and I am a sophomore at Los Gatos High School. I have danced at The Joy Of Dancing for most of my life, but am now dancing with Starting Arts in Santa Clara. I dance Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Tap. I also have training in Ballet and Lyrical. My favorite style would definitely be hip-hop. In middle school, I was co-captain of my school’s dance team, and I have performed in multiple annual recitals, “The Nutcracker”, and competition. I am absolutely ecstatic to be part of the dance team, and am very excited for this year!
