"Senior Jocelyn Satterberg and Sophomore Kelsi Krandel performed an intense tap-dancing routine to Nicki Minaj's "Massive Attack". The dancing was impressive during the song but Satterberg and Krandel really blew away the audience after the song ended and they were left to perform without accompaniment. The two created a brilliant, superfast, polyrythmic beat out of nothing more than the clacks of their shoes, all the while giving an arresting visual show with their dynamic dancing"- Steven Nugent-Opinion Editor El Gato Newspaper.

Team Dance Camp August 24th-29th
The LGHS Dance team has grown. New members and returning students got acquainted while working together during technique classes and choreography sessions. Guest choreographers were Sara Frausto and Melissa Bulnes. Marie Stinnett whipped dancers into shape with master technique classes and Coach Andrea Moody and team captain Jocelyn Satterberg worked on spirit rally choreography.
It was a full week with team building with Sara Frausto, a summer birthday celebration, and a professional photo shoot by Doug Speidel in front of beautiful Los Gatos High School. The week was ended with a team trip to picturesque Capitola. It does not get much better!
